Wuyi University (Jiangmen)

1. All foreigners, Chinese of foreign citizenship, and Overseas Chinese aged 18 or above in good health, interested in Chinese language and culture, can apply for admission. Applicants must be willing to observe the laws and decrees set by the Chinese Government, abide by the rules and regulations of the university and respect Chinese customs.

2. Interested institutions, groups or individuals should contact the Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) of WYU or ICCLC for application forms in advance of their planned registration. Applicants should mail or fax the filled-out Application form for Admission to the ICCLC of WYU in order to help go through the procedures concerned.

3. An Admission letter and a JW 202 Form will be sent to the accepted applicant, with which the applicant can apply for a student visa from the Chinese embassy or consulate in his or her home country. The short-term students can apply for L-visa or V-visa.

4. The students who have been accepted shall come to the FAO of WYU within the supposed dates to get registered and pay RMB 300 Yuan for the registration (non-refundable). At the same time, they should bring the Admission letters and their passports.

5. Within 30 days after entry into China, long-term students should start the application for a residence permit from the local public security bureau and they must provide their passport, health certificates issued by the designated local hospital and ten recently-taken full-faced pictures to FAO of WYU. FAO will help them to go through all the related procedures then.
